Raj Rani - Artist
Raj Rani began painting at college in Amritsar, India.
After graduating, she taught art and produced several paintings for the famous Golden Temple.

In England, she also completed a large scale painting for the Geeta Bhavan Hindu Temple in Birmingham.

In 2004 Raj Rani was chosen in by the B.B.C. to be one of the judges Weather Picture Competition.


Now living in Tynemouth, Rani works in her studio and is currently exploring new styles and subject matter.

Some of Rani's most impressive work is based on images of traditional Hindu culture and iconography.

Rani has recently produced two paintings, that are on permanent display at the Hindu Temple and the Sikh Temple in Newcastle upon Tyne.
